Who are we?
The See the Good! team is made up of both dreamers and doers. We are a mix of teachers, researchers, designers and techies from Finland. We share much in common. But perhaps our most shared trait is that we are all optimists.
Recognizing the student as an individual, understanding what works, and building on tested methods are at the heart of positive pedagogy. When children see their strengths, they become happier and have the energy to develop. When
they see their friends' strengths, they support and
encourage each other.
Strengths-based education paves the way for
a more empathetic and brighter future.
The teacher Kaisa became a researcher:
Happy children know
their strengths
“As a teacher, I was dealing with children with special needs. But I lacked all the tools I needed. So I became a researcher in positive pedagogy.
Over time, I developed a method that recognizes and builds both the children's strengths and my own strengths as a teacher. See the Good! was a game changer, not only for me and my students, but also for the parents and the whole school.
Wonderful things happen when students start to like school and develop greater trust in themselves, their peers and their teachers.”
Kaisa Vuorinen, researcher and founder of See the Good!
